With the new Apple iPhone 6 date to be released there is already speculation as to when the iPhone 6 release date or perhaps what the iPhone 5 specs will be. There was so much hype about what turned out to be the 4S released in October 2011, and then what appeared to be the ensuing disappointment that seemed to abound, can now only have everyone’s eyes to what the future may hold. Having said that, it does seem that the latest iPhone didn’t scare away consumers with over 1 million were sold in the first 24 hours of the release and it does concrete that everything Apple touches seems to turn to gold.

What do we already know about iPhone releases?

Well, traditionally Apple sticks to a yearly routine, so based on this the iPhone 6 would possibly be very late 2013 (just in time for Christmas) with the potential of the 5 or 5S still being in between. Having said that we were surprised with the latest new iPhone because everyone was so certain it was the iPhone 5, so perhaps we will be amazed again with something else. In some camps there is a certain disdain for even mentioning the 5 and that people would prefer if Apple just went straight to the iPhone 6, but with never a marketing opportunity to go astray the continued hype around the iPhone 5 makes it easy to keep it going. They certainly are the masters of suspense and don’t tend to mention anything until it’s absolutely certain leaving the rest of us only to ponder what awaits.

What iPhone 6 specs are there likely to be?

Storage and memory should be at least double of what we are seeing at the moment, with more and more people using their phones everyday and in replace of their computers and home phones. That brings about the screen size, obviously it can’t go a lot bigger due to our physical limitations, but the screen graphics certainly will be enhanced. One other feature we have seen to continuously improve is the camera and video capabilities with the iPhone 6 expected again to rival top digital cameras. In relation to the screen many users would like to see something that doesn’t break or crack as easily, and that a new curved screen has been mentioned. The battery would now be certainly expected to include wireless charging, with these type of charging pads already available it makes sense to include this in the iPhone 6 as standard. In conjunction with this would be wireless syncing and uploading of files which would be nice and easy.

What else would we like?
